If your editing software does not support direct capture from hardware capture cards, then you can use the included Media Express software to capture a wide range of compressed and uncompressed video formats and file types. UltraStudio supports DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Premiere Pro CC. You can connect client monitors to the UltraStudio video output so they can watch you work on big screen televisions! It also come with WDM drivers so it’s compatible with a massive range of affordable Windows software as well!

Cinema quality video acquisition has never been simpler! When working on set with DaVinci Resolve, you can use the Resolve Live feature to grade live from your camera. Resolve Live allows you to add nodes and correctors, and then store those grades to link up with the camera media later. No matter what quality camera you use, there is an UltraStudio model with the connections to plug in directly and then grade live! You can also use UltraStudio to capture from cameras into specific, rare or custom file formats and codecs so you can use live capture to prepare media in real time for your post production workflow. UltraStudio works with any format and new file formats and codecs can be added as third party plug‑ins.
