Kef Q Concerto Meta, the largest of the KEF Q series bookshelf speaker collection. At the heart of the Kef Q Concerto’s performance is Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™), a technology developed to almost completely eliminate high-frequency distortion. The MAT, with its labyrinthine structure, acts as an absorber of unwanted sound waves, improving the purity of the sound and making listening extremely natural. This technology represents a real turning point in the acoustic evolution of Kef speakers.

The Kef Q Concerto features the renowned 12th generation Uni-Q driver, an exclusive KEF feature that allows for a homogeneous and balanced sound diffusion. The 19 mm aluminum tweeter is positioned in the center of the midrange cone, ensuring precise acoustic dispersion in all directions, so as to create a realistic and immersive soundstage. The integration with the MAT allows the Uni-Q driver to work at its maximum potential, reducing resonances and improving the details of the high frequencies.

Three-way bookshelf speaker

One of the main features that distinguishes the Kef Q Concerto from other bookshelf models is its three-way configuration. This design precisely separates the high, mid and low frequencies, allowing each driver to focus on its own range, without overloading the other components. The separation of frequencies ensures clearer and more detailed sound reproduction, especially in the mid-low ranges, offering much more precise listening than two-way speakers.

Despite its compact size, the Kef Q Concerto is able to offer deep and controlled bass thanks to its 165 mm aluminum hybrid woofer. This structure gives rigidity to the cone, allowing a quick and precise response to low frequencies, maintaining exceptional dynamics even at high volumes. The design of the woofer, combined with an optimised surround geometry, guarantees powerful and distortion-free bass, ideal for all musical genres.

Kef, maximum care

The Kef Q Concerto leaves nothing to chance, not even in the crossover, which has been carefully optimized to ensure perfect integration between the different components of the speaker. Each model of the Q series, including the Concerto, has been subjected to more than 1000 measurements in an anechoic chamber, allowing KEF engineers to perfect the frequency response and obtain the most natural sound reproduction possible. The result is a smooth transition between high, medium and low frequencies, ensuring impeccable audio performance.

The Kef Q Concerto combines technological excellence with a refined aesthetic design. Available in Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes, it fits perfectly into any environment, both modern and classic.
