ifi 4.4mm to XLR cable was created to provide the highest quality balanced signal transfer and minimum interference, iFi’s 4.4mm to XLR cable employs heavy OFHC continuous-cast copper conductors and silver matrix with a total cross-sectional area of 16AWG for the best signal transfer.

The “helix” effect.

The structure of the cable is a custom minZ™ helix design, which minimizes both capacitance and inductance. It also features inherent shielding provided by the minZ™ helix design. The design protects the cable from RFI and EMI noise and provides the cleanest possible transfer medium. To further insulate the cable, we adopted a RoHS-compliant HD polymer with excellent dielectric properties and super-soft (60P), with a spark resistance of 1500 VAC. Ifi’s 4.4 mm to XLR cable uses heavy OFHC continuous cast copper.
